śrāddhārhaḥ kanyakārhaśca somārhaśca viśeṣataḥ | sāmānyapadayogyaśca samaste sthānakarmaṇi

Translation

அவன் ஸ்ராத்தத்தில் அர்ப்பணிப்புகளைப் பெறத் தகுதியானவன்; கன்னி-சடங்குகளுக்கும் தகுதியானவன்; குறிப்பாக சோமம் தொடர்பான யாகங்களில் தகுதியானவன்; மேலும் எல்லா இட-விசேஷச் சடங்குகளிலும் பொதுப் பதவிக்கும் உரியவன்।
