स तां सीतेति सीतेति व्याहृत्याथ मुहुर्मुहुः । स्त्रीधर्मिणीति मत्वा तु लक्ष्मणं चेदमब्रवीत्
sa tāṃ sīteti sīteti vyāhṛtyātha muhurmuhuḥ | strīdharmiṇīti matvā tu lakṣmaṇaṃ cedamabravīt
அவன் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் “சீதே! சீதே!” என்று அழைத்தான்; அவளை ஸ்த்ரீதர்மத்தில் நிலைத்தவள் என எண்ணி, பின்னர் லக்ஷ்மணனிடம் இவ்வாறு கூறினான்।
