ब्राह्मण्या चैव शूद्र्या च कुमारीभ्यां विनिर्मितम् । अष्टम्यां च चतुर्दश्यां यस्ताभ्यां स्नानमाचरेत्

Transliteration

brāhmaṇyā caiva śūdryā ca kumārībhyāṃ vinirmitam | aṣṭamyāṃ ca caturdaśyāṃ yastābhyāṃ snānamācaret

Translation

ஒரு பிராமணியும் ஒரு சூத்ராவும் ஆகிய இரு குமாரிகள் அதை அமைத்தனர். அஷ்டமி மற்றும் சதுர்தசி நாள்களில் அங்கு நீராடுபவன் விதியை அனுஷ்டிக்கிறான்।
