अष्टाविंशतिभिश्चैव सहस्रैस्तु तथा परैः । आद्यं कृतयुगं चैव तद्भ विष्यति सद्द्विजाः

Transliteration

aṣṭāviṃśatibhiścaiva sahasraistu tathā paraiḥ | ādyaṃ kṛtayugaṃ caiva tadbha viṣyati saddvijāḥ

Translation

இருபத்தெட்டு ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளாலும், மேலும் அதற்கு மேலான (ஆண்டுகளாலும்), முதல் யுகமான க்ருதயுகம் இவ்வாறு நிர்ணயிக்கப்படுகிறது, ஓ சத்த்விஜரே.
