यावन्तस्तंतवस्तस्य दह्यंते दीप संभवाः । मुहूर्तानि च यावंति घृतदीपश्च तिष्ठति । तावज्जन्मसहस्राणि सा स्यात्सौभाग्यभांगिनी
yāvantastaṃtavastasya dahyaṃte dīpa saṃbhavāḥ | muhūrtāni ca yāvaṃti ghṛtadīpaśca tiṣṭhati | tāvajjanmasahasrāṇi sā syātsaubhāgyabhāṃginī
அந்த தீபத்தின் எத்தனை திரிகள் எரிந்து கருகுகின்றனவோ, எத்தனை முஹூர்த்தங்கள் நெய்தீபம் எரிகிறதோ—அத்தனை ஆயிரம் பிறவிகள் அவள் நல்வாழ்வின் பங்காளியாக இருப்பாள்।
