सूत उवाच । भृगुर्हौत्रे ततस्तेन वृतो ब्राह्मणसत्तमाः । मैत्रावरुणसंज्ञस्तु तथैव च्यवनो मुनिः
sūta uvāca | bhṛgurhautre tatastena vṛto brāhmaṇasattamāḥ | maitrāvaruṇasaṃjñastu tathaiva cyavano muniḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்— “ஹோத்ரு பதவிக்குப் பிராமணர்களில் சிறந்த ப்ருகு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்; மைத்ராவருண பதவிக்கு அதேபோல் முனி ச்யவனன் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார்।”
