। सूत उवाच । ततः सोऽपि महीपालः क्षुत्पिपामासमाकुलः । पपात धरणीपृष्ठे पद्भ्यां गत्वा वनांतरम्
| sūta uvāca | tataḥ so'pi mahīpālaḥ kṣutpipāmāsamākulaḥ | papāta dharaṇīpṛṣṭhe padbhyāṃ gatvā vanāṃtaram
சூதர் கூறினார்—பின்னர் அந்தப் பூபாலன் பசி தாகத்தால் வாடி, கால்நடையாகக் காட்டின் உள்ளே சென்று, தரையில் விழுந்தான்।
