गुग्गुलोत्थं ततो धूपं नैवेद्यं घारिकात्मकम् । जातीफलेन चार्घ्यं च तदेव प्राशनं स्मृतम्
guggulotthaṃ tato dhūpaṃ naivedyaṃ ghārikātmakam | jātīphalena cārghyaṃ ca tadeva prāśanaṃ smṛtam
பின்னர் குக்குலுவில் இருந்து செய்யப்பட்ட தூபத்தை அர்ப்பணிக்க வேண்டும்; நைவேத்யமாக ‘காரிகா’ வகை உணவை வைக்க வேண்டும்; அர்க்யம் ஜாதிபலம் (ஜாதிக்காய்) கொண்டு செய்ய வேண்டும்—அதே பிரசாதமாக உண்ணப்பட வேண்டும் என கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது।
