दुर्वासा उवाच । नभस्ये चासिते पक्षे तृतीयादिवसे स्थिते । प्रातरुत्थाय पश्चाच्च भक्षयेद्दंतधावनम्
durvāsā uvāca | nabhasye cāsite pakṣe tṛtīyādivase sthite | prātarutthāya paścācca bhakṣayeddaṃtadhāvanam
துர்வாசர் கூறினார்—நபஸ்ய மாதத்தின் கிருஷ்ணபட்சத்தில் திதி மூன்றாம் நாள் வந்தபோது, காலையில் எழுந்த பின் பற்கள் துலக்கும் தந்ததாவனம் (தாது/மஞ்சனம்) மட்டுமே உணவாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்।
