यावत्पुत्रि त्वमात्मानमेतैः पूजयसेऽक्षरैः । जलपानं न कर्तव्यं तावच्चैव कथञ्चन
yāvatputri tvamātmānametaiḥ pūjayase'kṣaraiḥ | jalapānaṃ na kartavyaṃ tāvaccaiva kathañcana
‘மகளே, நீ இவ்வெழுத்துகளால் வழிபாடு செய்கிற வரையில், அந்தப் பூஜை நிறைவடையும் வரை எவ்விதத்திலும் நீர் அருந்தக் கூடாது.’
