सूत उवाच । दृष्ट्वा प्रतिष्ठितं लिंगं याज्ञवल्क्येन धीमता । स्वमातुः शुद्धिहेतोः स तन्नाम्ना लिंगमुत्तमम्
sūta uvāca | dṛṣṭvā pratiṣṭhitaṃ liṃgaṃ yājñavalkyena dhīmatā | svamātuḥ śuddhihetoḥ sa tannāmnā liṃgamuttamam
சூதர் கூறினார்—தன் தாயின் சுத்திக்காக ஞானமிகு யாஜ்ஞவல்க்யர் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்த லிங்கத்தைப் பார்த்து, அவர் அதே நாமத்தால் அந்த உத்தம லிங்கத்தைப் புகழ்பெறச் செய்தார்।
