पूर्णश्रोत्रं जले नैव व्याकुलांगं व्यवस्थितम् । निहन्मि येन शीघ्रं च नान्यच्छिद्रं प्रलक्षये
pūrṇaśrotraṃ jale naiva vyākulāṃgaṃ vyavasthitam | nihanmi yena śīghraṃ ca nānyacchidraṃ pralakṣaye
அவர் நீரில் நின்றிருக்கிறார்; காதுகள் நீரால் நிரம்பி, உடல் உறுப்புகள் கலங்கி நிலையற்றுள்ளன. ‘எந்த வழியால் விரைவில் தாக்கி வீழ்த்துவது? வேறு எந்தப் பிளவும் (பலவீன இடமும்) எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை.’
