एवं तौ संविदं कृत्वा ययतुर्ब्राह्मणोत्तमाः । हट्टमार्गे गतौ तत्र यत्र षंढो व्यव स्थितः
evaṃ tau saṃvidaṃ kṛtvā yayaturbrāhmaṇottamāḥ | haṭṭamārge gatau tatra yatra ṣaṃḍho vyava sthitaḥ
இவ்வாறு உடன்பாடு செய்து அந்தச் சிறந்த பிராமணர்கள் புறப்பட்டனர். அவர்கள் சந்தைத் தெருவழியாகச் சென்று, அங்கு நின்றிருந்த ஷண்டனை அணைந்தனர்.
