सूत उवाच । दक्षस्य दुहिता नाम्ना दितिः सर्वगुणालया । हिरण्यकशिपुर्नाम तस्याः पुत्रो बभूव ह
sūta uvāca | dakṣasya duhitā nāmnā ditiḥ sarvaguṇālayā | hiraṇyakaśipurnāma tasyāḥ putro babhūva ha
சூதர் கூறினார்—தக்ஷனுக்கு திதி என்னும் மகள் இருந்தாள்; அவள் எல்லா நற்குணங்களின் இருப்பிடமாக இருந்தாள். அவளிடமிருந்து ஹிரண்யகசிபு என்னும் புகழ்பெற்ற மகன் பிறந்தான்।
