daśamyāṃ vasavaḥ pūjyāstathāṣṭamyāṃ viśeṣataḥ | svargaṃ samīhamānaiśca vilāsairvividhaistathā

தசமி திதியில் வசுக்களை வழிபட வேண்டும்; மேலும் அஷ்டமியிலும் சிறப்பாக—சுவர்க்கத்தை நாடுவோர் பலவகை காணிக்கைகளும் விழா ஒழுங்குகளும் உடன்.
