चित्रांगद उवाच । व्याधिनाऽहं सुनिर्विण्णस्तेन देवात्र चागतः । येन व्याधिक्षयो भावी देहनाशेन शंकर
citrāṃgada uvāca | vyādhinā'haṃ sunirviṇṇastena devātra cāgataḥ | yena vyādhikṣayo bhāvī dehanāśena śaṃkara
சித்ராங்கதன் கூறினான்—“நோயால் நான் மிகுந்த சோர்வும் விரக்தியும் அடைந்தேன்; ஆகவே, தேவா, உம்மிடம் இங்கு வந்தேன். சங்கரா, எந்த வழியால் இந்த நோய் ஒழியும்—தேவைப்பட்டால் இந்த உடல் அழிந்தாலும்?”
