एतस्मिन्नंतरे देवाः सर्वे चिंतासमाकुलाः । किमिदं क्षीयते लोको जलस्थैः स्थलजैः सह
etasminnaṃtare devāḥ sarve ciṃtāsamākulāḥ | kimidaṃ kṣīyate loko jalasthaiḥ sthalajaiḥ saha
அந்நேரத்தில் எல்லா தேவர்களும் ‘சிந்தை’யால் கலங்கினர்—‘நீரில் வாழ்வோரும் நிலத்தில் வாழ்வோரும் உடன் இந்த உலகம் ஏன் இவ்வாறு சிதைந்து குறைகிறது?’ என்று.
