ततः प्रसादयामास तं कामः प्रणिपत्य च । न ज्ञातेयं मया विप्र तव भार्येति सुन्दरी
tataḥ prasādayāmāsa taṃ kāmaḥ praṇipatya ca | na jñāteyaṃ mayā vipra tava bhāryeti sundarī
அப்போது காமன் வணங்கி அவனை அமைதிப்படுத்த முயன்று கூறினான்—“ஓ விப்ரரே, இந்த அழகி உங்கள் மனைவி என்று எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை.”
