mahadbhūtāni caitāni pañca devī yatavratā | tataḥ saṃpūjayāmāsa puṣpadhūpānulepanaiḥ

இவையே பஞ்ச மஹாபூதங்கள்; விரதத்தில் நிலைத்த தேவி பின்னர் மலர்கள், தூபம், நறுமண அநுலேபனம் ஆகியவற்றால் அவற்றை முறையாக முழுமையாகப் பூஜித்தாள்.
