याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । एवं भवतु देवेश यत्त्वयोक्तं वचोऽखिलम् । परं मम वचोऽन्यच्च तच्छृणुष्व ब्रवीमि ते
yājñavalkya uvāca | evaṃ bhavatu deveśa yattvayoktaṃ vaco'khilam | paraṃ mama vaco'nyacca tacchṛṇuṣva bravīmi te
யாஜ்ஞவல்க்யர் கூறினார்: தேவேசா, நீ உரைத்த அனைத்தும் அப்படியே நிகழட்டும். இப்போது என் இன்னொரு சொல்லையும் கேள்; அதை உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.
