अप्रियं तेजसा हीनं मृतमस्पृश्यतां गतम् । लिंगस्य नातिदूरस्थं दाह्यार्थं यत्नमास्थिताः
apriyaṃ tejasā hīnaṃ mṛtamaspṛśyatāṃ gatam | liṃgasya nātidūrasthaṃ dāhyārthaṃ yatnamāsthitāḥ
அருவருப்பானது, ஒளியற்றது, இறந்தது, தீண்டத்தகாதது எனக் கருதப்பட்ட அந்த உடலைக் கண்டு, லிங்கத்திலிருந்து அதிக தூரமல்லாத இடத்தில் தகனத்திற்காக முயன்றனர்।
