ऋषय ऊचुः । कस्मात्तस्य कृतं नाम एतच्चाऽट इति स्मृतम् । अन्वयेन परित्यक्तं तस्मात्कीर्तय सूतज

Transliteration

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | kasmāttasya kṛtaṃ nāma etaccā'ṭa iti smṛtam | anvayena parityaktaṃ tasmātkīrtaya sūtaja

Translation

ரிஷிகள் கூறினர்—“அவனுக்கு இந்தப் பெயர் எதனால் வழங்கப்பட்டது? மேலும் அவன் ‘அட’ என்று ஏன் நினைவுகூரப்படுகிறான்? இது வம்ச வழி பெயரிடுதலிலிருந்து விலகியது; ஆகவே கூறுவாயாக, ஓ சூதபுத்ரா.”
