सूत उवाच । श्वेतद्वीपः समानीतो विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना । तत्क्षेत्रे कलिभीतेन यथा शौक्ल्यं न संत्यजेत्
sūta uvāca | śvetadvīpaḥ samānīto viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | tatkṣetre kalibhītena yathā śauklyaṃ na saṃtyajet
சூதர் கூறினார்—அனைத்தையும் ஆளும் விஷ்ணு, ச்வேதத்வீபத்தை இங்கே கொண்டு வந்தார்; அந்தப் புனிதப் பகுதியில்—கலியின் அச்சத்தால்—அது தன் வெண்மை (தூய்மை) கைவிடாதபடி।
