मणिसोपानशोभाभिर्दीर्घिकाभिः समंततः । आरामकूपयंत्राद्यैः सर्वोपकरणैर्युतम् । निवेद्य ब्राह्मणेंद्राणां कृतकृत्यो बभूव सः
maṇisopānaśobhābhirdīrghikābhiḥ samaṃtataḥ | ārāmakūpayaṃtrādyaiḥ sarvopakaraṇairyutam | nivedya brāhmaṇeṃdrāṇāṃ kṛtakṛtyo babhūva saḥ
மணிபோன்ற படிக்கட்டுகளால் அழகுபெற்ற நீர்த்தடாகங்களால் நகரத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் அலங்கரித்து, தோட்டங்கள், கிணறுகள், நீரெடுக்கும் கருவிகள் முதலிய எல்லா வசதிகளாலும் நிறைவாக்கி, அதை பிராமணச் சிறந்தோர்க்கு முறையாக அர்ப்பணித்தான்; அப்பொழுது அவன் கடமை நிறைவேற்றியவனானான்।
