ब्राह्मणानां हितार्थाय श्रुत्यर्थं तस्य केवलम् । दशप्रमाणाः संप्रोक्ताः सर्वे ते ब्राह्मणोत्तमाः

Transliteration

brāhmaṇānāṃ hitārthāya śrutyarthaṃ tasya kevalam | daśapramāṇāḥ saṃproktāḥ sarve te brāhmaṇottamāḥ

Translation

பிராமணர்களின் நலனுக்காகவும், அந்தச் ஸ்ருதியை காக்கவும் பரம்பரையாக எடுத்துச் செல்லவும் மட்டுமே, பத்து ‘பிரமாணங்கள்’ நியமிக்கப்பட்டன—அவர்கள் அனைவரும் சிறந்த பிராமணர்கள்.
