सूत उवाच सांकृत्यस्य मुनेर्वंशे स संभूतो द्विजोत्तमः । प्रभाव इति विख्यातो दत्तसंज्ञो निमेः सुतः
sūta uvāca sāṃkṛtyasya munervaṃśe sa saṃbhūto dvijottamaḥ | prabhāva iti vikhyāto dattasaṃjño nimeḥ sutaḥ
சூதர் கூறினார்—ஸாங்க்ருத்ய முனிவரின் வம்சத்தில் அந்தத் த்விஜோத்தமன் தோன்றினான். ‘ப்ரபாவ’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்றவன்; ‘தத்த’ என்ற பெயராலும் அறியப்பட்டவன்; அவன் நிமியின் புதல்வன்.
