मासं मासं प्रति सदा शांता दांता जितेंद्रियाः । ततो मासा वसानेऽन्ये चक्रुस्तच्छांतिकं द्विजाः
māsaṃ māsaṃ prati sadā śāṃtā dāṃtā jiteṃdriyāḥ | tato māsā vasāne'nye cakrustacchāṃtikaṃ dvijāḥ
மாதம் மாதம் அவர்கள் எப்போதும் அமைதியுடன், தமனத்துடன், இந்திரியங்களை வென்றவர்களாய் அதே சாந்திகர்மத்தைச் செய்தனர்; பின்னர் மாத முடிவில் மற்ற த்விஜர்களும் அதே சாந்தியைச் செய்தனர்।
