तेषामपि च चत्वारि गोत्राण्युर गजाद्भयात् । गतानि तत्र यत्र स्युस्तानि पूर्वोद्भवानि च । चतुःषष्टिः स्थिता तत्र पुरे शेषा द्विजन्मनाम्
teṣāmapi ca catvāri gotrāṇyura gajādbhayāt | gatāni tatra yatra syustāni pūrvodbhavāni ca | catuḥṣaṣṭiḥ sthitā tatra pure śeṣā dvijanmanām
அவற்றில் நான்கு கோத்திரங்கள் உரக-கஜத்தின் அச்சத்தால் அங்கிருந்து விலகின; அவர்கள் எங்கே இருந்தார்களோ அங்கேயே சென்றனர்—அவை பழமையான தோற்றமுடைய கோத்திரங்கள். மீதமுள்ள அறுபத்துநான்கு இருபிறப்பினர் கோத்திரங்கள் அந்த நகரிலேயே நிலைத்தன।
