ततः शेषाश्च तापस्यो भूषणार्थं समुत्सुकाः । सस्पर्द्धा जगृहुस्तानि भूषणानि स्वयं द्विजाः
tataḥ śeṣāśca tāpasyo bhūṣaṇārthaṃ samutsukāḥ | sasparddhā jagṛhustāni bhūṣaṇāni svayaṃ dvijāḥ
பின்னர் மீதமிருந்த தவஸ்வினிகளும் ஆபரணங்களுக்காக ஆவலுடன், போட்டியால் நிரம்பி, ஓ த்விஜோத்தமரே, அந்த ஆபரணங்களைத் தாமே எடுத்துக் கொண்டனர்।
