त्वया प्रोक्तं पुरा दत्तं पुरं कृत्वा द्विजन्मनाम् । न च तेषां कृता संख्या तस्मात्तां परिकीर्तय
tvayā proktaṃ purā dattaṃ puraṃ kṛtvā dvijanmanām | na ca teṣāṃ kṛtā saṃkhyā tasmāttāṃ parikīrtaya
நீ முன்பு கூறினாய்—இருபிறப்போருக்காக நகரை அமைத்து அளித்ததாக; ஆனால் அவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை சொல்லப்படவில்லை. ஆகவே அந்த எண்ணிக்கையை இப்போது கூறுவாயாக।
