ब्रह्मोवाच । अहं तव स्वयं लिंगं पूजयिष्यामि शंकर । तथान्ये विबुधाः सर्वे किं पुनर्भुवि मानवाः
brahmovāca | ahaṃ tava svayaṃ liṃgaṃ pūjayiṣyāmi śaṃkara | tathānye vibudhāḥ sarve kiṃ punarbhuvi mānavāḥ
பிரம்மா கூறினார்—ஓ சங்கரா! நான் தானே உமது லிங்கத்தை வழிபடுவேன்; அதுபோல மற்ற எல்லா தேவர்களும் வழிபடுவர்—அப்படியிருக்க, பூமியில் உள்ள மனிதர்கள் இன்னும் அதிகமாகவே வழிபடுவர்.
