पीडितोऽप्यभवत्तूष्णीं तैरुक्तः पापकृत्तमः । द्यूते त्वया च तद्द्रव्यं हारितं किं प्रयच्छसि
pīḍito'pyabhavattūṣṇīṃ tairuktaḥ pāpakṛttamaḥ | dyūte tvayā ca taddravyaṃ hāritaṃ kiṃ prayacchasi
வேதனைப்பட்டும் அவன் மௌனமாக இருந்தான். அப்போது அவர்கள் அந்தப் பெரும் பாவியிடம்—“சூதாட்டத்தில் நீ அந்தச் செல்வத்தை இழந்தாய்; இப்போது என்ன கொடுப்பாய்?” என்றனர்.
