गंधरात्पाट्यमानाच्च शिरश्छिन्नं दुरात्मनः । दक्षस्य च तदा तेन वीरभद्रेण धीमता । तच्छिरः सुहुतं कुंडे ज्वलि
gaṃdharātpāṭyamānācca śiraśchinnaṃ durātmanaḥ | dakṣasya ca tadā tena vīrabhadreṇa dhīmatā | tacchiraḥ suhutaṃ kuṃḍe jvali
கழுத்திலிருந்து இழுக்கப்படும்போதே துர்மனத்துடைய தக்ஷனின் தலை, ஞானமிகு வீரபத்ரனால் அப்போது வெட்டப்பட்டது; அந்தத் தலை எரியும் குண்டத்தில் ஆஹுதியாக இடப்பட்டது।
