pañcamī nāgarājasya kumārasya ca ṣaṣṭhikā | bhānośca saptamī jñeyā navamī caṇḍikāpriyā

Translation

பஞ்சமி திதி நாகராஜனுக்குரியது; ஷஷ்டி குமாரன் (ஸ்கந்தன்) உடையது. ஸப்தமி பானு (சூரியன்) உடையதாக அறியப்படுக; நவமி சண்டிகைக்கு பிரியமானது.
