jvālāmālāvṛtaṃ kālamīśvarasyāgrataḥ sthitam | labdhasaṃjñastadā rājā kālaṃ svaṃ haṃtumāgatam

ஜ்வாலைகளின் மாலையால் சூழப்பட்ட காலன் ஈசுவரன் முன் நின்றான். அப்போது உணர்வு பெற்ற அரசன், தன் காலனைத் தானே வெல்ல முனைந்தான்.
