तं प्रहारमना दृत्य तारको दैत्यपुंगवः । कुमारं चाऽपि संक्रुद्धः स्वशक्त्या चाजघान वै
taṃ prahāramanā dṛtya tārako daityapuṃgavaḥ | kumāraṃ cā'pi saṃkruddhaḥ svaśaktyā cājaghāna vai
அந்த அடியைப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல், தைத்தியப் புங்கவன் தாரகன் கோபமுற்று, தன் சக்தி-வேலால் குமாரனை எதிர்தாக்கினான்.
