त्रिभिर्गुणैर्व्याप्तमिदं चराचरं जगन्महद्व्याप्यथ वाल्पकं वा । मायामयं सर्वमिदं विभाति लिंगं विना केन कुतोविभाति
tribhirguṇairvyāptamidaṃ carācaraṃ jaganmahadvyāpyatha vālpakaṃ vā | māyāmayaṃ sarvamidaṃ vibhāti liṃgaṃ vinā kena kutovibhāti
இவ்வெல்லாம் அசையும்-அசையாத உலகம்—பெரிதாயினும் சிறிதாயினும்—மூன்று குணங்களால் நிறைந்துள்ளது. அனைத்தும் மாயாமயமாகத் தோன்றுகிறது; லிங்கம் இன்றி யாரால், எவ்வாறு இது வெளிப்பட முடியும்?
