विमृश्य कारणं देवी किमाह्वानं करोति न । दक्षः पिता मे माता च विस्मृता मां कुतोऽधुना
vimṛśya kāraṇaṃ devī kimāhvānaṃ karoti na | dakṣaḥ pitā me mātā ca vismṛtā māṃ kuto'dhunā
காரணத்தை ஆராய்ந்த தேவி மனத்தில் எண்ணினாள்— “அவர் ஏன் எனக்கு அழைப்பு அனுப்பவில்லை? தக்ஷன் என் தந்தை, தாயும்; அவர்கள் என்னை மறந்தார்களா? இப்போது அது எப்படிச் சாத்தியம்?”
