आत्मसंभावितो मूढःस्तब्धो मौनी समत्सरः । कर्मण्यस्मिन्नयोग्योऽसौ नानीतो हि मयाऽधुना
ātmasaṃbhāvito mūḍhaḥstabdho maunī samatsaraḥ | karmaṇyasminnayogyo'sau nānīto hi mayā'dhunā
அவன் தன்னம்பிக்கை மிகுந்த அகந்தையன், மயக்கமுற்றவன், பிடிவாதி, மௌனன், பொறாமையுடையவன். இந்தக் கர்மத்திற்கு (யாகத்திற்கு) அவன் தகுதியற்றவன்; ஆகவே இப்போது நான் அவனை இங்கே அழைத்து வரவில்லை.
