Transliteration

gavākṣādhiṣṭhito'paśyaṃ vasaṃte munikanyakām | pravāti dakṣiṇe vāyau madanāgnipradīpitaḥ

Translation

வசந்த காலத்தில் ஜன்னல் திறப்பில் நின்று நான் ஒரு முனிவரின் மகளைக் கண்டேன். தென்றல் (தெற்கு காற்று) வீசியதும் என் உள்ளத்தில் மதனாக்னி எரிந்தெழுந்தது.
