ततः संबोध्य जननी तां सुतामाह भार्गवम् । न देयास्मै त्वया कन्या विरूपायेति चाग्रहात्
tataḥ saṃbodhya jananī tāṃ sutāmāha bhārgavam | na deyāsmai tvayā kanyā virūpāyeti cāgrahāt
அப்போது தாய் மகளைக் தேற்றிக் கொண்டு பார்கவனை உறுதியாகக் கூறினாள்— “அந்த விரூபனுக்கு இந்தக் கன்னியை அளிக்காதே.”
