namasye cetanaṃ brahmā pratyakṣaṃ gālavākhyayā | avidyākṛṣṇasarpeṇa daṣṭaṃ tadviṣapīḍitam

Translation

காலவ என்ற நாமத்தால் என் முன் நேரில் வெளிப்பட்ட சைதன்ய பரப்ரஹ்மத்துக்கு நான் வணங்குகிறேன். அவித்யை எனும் கருஞ்சர்ப்பம் என்னைக் கடித்தது; அதன் விஷத்தால் நான் துன்புறுகிறேன்.
