वृक्षेणाहत्य मद्रेशो नदीं शुष्कां प्रसारितः । राजराजस्तथा येन जरासंधो निपातितः
vṛkṣeṇāhatya madreśo nadīṃ śuṣkāṃ prasāritaḥ | rājarājastathā yena jarāsaṃdho nipātitaḥ
மரத்தால் அடித்து மத்ரேசன் வீழ்த்தப்பட்டான்; வறண்ட நதியும் ஓடச் செய்யப்பட்டது; அதுபோல அரசரசன் ஜராசந்தனும் அவனால் வீழ்த்தப்பட்டான்.
