सुहृदय उवाच । क्षत्रियाणां कुले जातस्त्वहं धर्माभिरक्षिणाम् । तस्मात्ते पातकं कर्तुं न दास्यामि कथंचन
suhṛdaya uvāca | kṣatriyāṇāṃ kule jātastvahaṃ dharmābhirakṣiṇām | tasmātte pātakaṃ kartuṃ na dāsyāmi kathaṃcana
சுஹ்ருதயன் கூறினான்—நான் தர்மத்தை காக்கும் க்ஷத்திரிய குலத்தில் பிறந்தவன். ஆகையால் நீ இந்தப் பாதகத்தைச் செய்ய எந்த விதத்திலும் நான் இடமளிக்கமாட்டேன்.
