बर्बरीक उवाच । अहं कुरुकुलोत्पन्नः पांडुपुत्रस्य पौत्रकः । बर्बरीक इति ख्यातस्तं दैत्यं हंतुमागतः
barbarīka uvāca | ahaṃ kurukulotpannaḥ pāṃḍuputrasya pautrakaḥ | barbarīka iti khyātastaṃ daityaṃ haṃtumāgataḥ
பர்பரீகன் கூறினான்—நான் குருகுலத்தில் பிறந்தவன்; பாண்டுவின் மகனின் பேரன். ‘பர்பரீகன்’ எனப் புகழ்பெற்ற நான் அந்த அசுரனை வதம் செய்ய வந்தேன்.
