dāruṇākṣī śukladantī bhayasyāpi bhayaṃkarī | sā ruroda mahārāvaṃ prāpya tāṃ homabhūmikām

Translation

அவளுடைய கண்கள் கொடூரமானவை, பற்கள் வெண்மையானவை; பயத்திற்கே பயம் தருபவள். ஹோமப் பூமியை அடைந்தவுடன் அவள் இடிமுழக்கம் போல் பேரலறல் செய்து அழுதாள்.
