रुदंस्तस्याः समीपे चाप्यागतः प्रेतसद्मनि । रुदंतं च ततो बालं कृत्वोत्संगे कृपान्विता
rudaṃstasyāḥ samīpe cāpyāgataḥ pretasadmani | rudaṃtaṃ ca tato bālaṃ kṛtvotsaṃge kṛpānvitā
அவன் அழுதபடியே அவளருகே வந்தான்; பேய்களின் அந்த வாசஸ்தலத்திற்கும் வந்தான். அழும் குழந்தையைப் பார்த்த கருணையுடைய தேவி அவனை மடியில் எடுத்தாள்.
