ग्रामे ग्रामे सुसंनद्धा नवलक्षमिता रथाः । राक्षसौ द्वौ समायातौ पात्येतां विशिखैरिति
grāme grāme susaṃnaddhā navalakṣamitā rathāḥ | rākṣasau dvau samāyātau pātyetāṃ viśikhairiti
ஊர்தோறும் நன்கு ஆயத்தமான, எண்ணற்ற தேர்கள் தயாராயின. “இரு இராட்சசர் வந்துள்ளனர்; அவர்களை அம்புகளால் வீழ்த்துங்கள்” என்று கூறினர்.
