न्यायेनागतया वृत्त्या भिक्षया वार्तयापि च । संतोषो यस्य सततं सा तुष्टिरिति चोच्यते
nyāyenāgatayā vṛttyā bhikṣayā vārtayāpi ca | saṃtoṣo yasya satataṃ sā tuṣṭiriti cocyate
நியாயமாகக் கிடைத்த வாழ்வாதாரத்தில்—பிச்சையாலோ அல்லது தர்மோசிதமான தொழிலாலோ—எப்போதும் திருப்தியுடன் இருப்பவனுக்கே ‘துஷ்டி’ என்று சொல்லப்படுகிறது।
