माहात्म्यमतुलं पार्थ देवानामपि दुर्लभम् । मया पूर्वं सरः खातं दर्भांकुरशलाकया
māhātmyamatulaṃ pārtha devānāmapi durlabham | mayā pūrvaṃ saraḥ khātaṃ darbhāṃkuraśalākayā
ஏ பார்தா, இம்மகிமை ஒப்பற்றது—தேவர்களுக்கும் அரிது. முன்பு நான் தானே தர்ப்பை முளையின் கூர்மையான குச்சியால் இந்தச் சரோவரத்தைத் தோண்டினேன்.
